Model digital citizenship by critically evaluating online resources, engaging in civil discourse online and using digital tools to contribute to positive social change.
The Facebook posts are the perfect example that aligns with the ISTE standard 1c. In this project, I shared some cultural interests from my hometown to bring the awareness of being a culturally diversed learner on the social media platform. Education leaders should help learners to evaluate and filter online resources. Eventually, a safe and private online learning environment will serve their learning and sharing because the environment is crucial to the cultivation of digital citizenship and social awareness.
