Building confidence and competency is an essential job, regardless of the educational institution. It is even more challenging to do this without systematic training or a series of brilliant ideas. During the process of upgrading, we must consider the quality of the course itself and other elements. Firstly, it conflicts with teaching disciplines if we do not let all the staff members and students participate. Secondly, a vision or future should be discussed. When dated contents and elements are unnecessary, someone asks which technology or multimedia tool we should apply to support our teaching? These ideas and questions eventually give us instructions to improve the content.

With the direction given by ISTE Standard 3b, we can discover that the difficulty of course upgrades is related to school regulations and discipline and the audience`s feedback. When innovation and evolution enter our horizons, something has to get out of our subject ruts. Teachers and students accustomed to the traditional education model are tough to give up their curricular habits. They use the traditional curriculum building model to dominate Feedbacks from students. Although these are dated elements, the educators just do not let them go. Change is painful, and most educators choose to stay in their comfort zone.
If the content not upgraded in the future, both educators and students feel aggravated. They can not finish their goals by using dated content. Just imagine we can teach native speakers English as their foreign language or teach language differently. If content stays dated, none of these could happen. Educators and learners all need to contribute to implementing ISTE standards into practice.
