Professional development also addresses the importance of referencing, filtering and referencing online resources. Educators and students need various materials and resources to support and enrich their learning content. The massive database has been building since the internet was invented. It becomes the education leader’s responsibility to locate and analyze the resources for the participants. In the PD session, the instructor introduced the NASA website to support the STEAM model. Two problems must be solved before the session starts. The first one is that among all the lessons, lessons align with the learning needs and learning outcomes well. The second one is the reason for using any technology. As we know, technology is not teaching, and we must identify the usage and purpose of those tools before implementing them.
Before plan this PD session, I thought everything must be original to showcase the ability and skills that I have learnt through the course. The truth is that I must be able to search for valuable and practical resources from the internet or the archive. My job is to use those resources and ensure the safety and possibility of implementing the tools. Analyzing online resources is more crucial and effective in delivering a decent PD training plan than using online resources. Furthermore, as education leaders, we need to notice the learning differentiation in the learning environment because modelling will motivate participants to imitate and stimulate the same action in future learning.
I will keep search and discover the possibility of various tools among the database from the internet. The more you are connected to the digital world, the more qualified you will be as a digital citizen. with the experience, we could invent a much more effective system and learning environment for the upcoming demands in the field of education
