In the traditional ways, people are more likely to collect data and record it onto paper and books. I still remember the days I spent in my college 12 years ago, and the experience of losing notebooks was not pleasant at all. Since I graduated from college, I have preferred paperless work and data storage. By that time, I did not know anything about ISTE standards, and no one told me how to arrange and engage my reflective practices. Now I know how standard 5c helps educators engage in reflective activities and support personal/professional growth by using technology. In addition, keeping the habit of writing reflections upon work and study also enhances the participants’ skill of locating mistakes, solving problems, and improving.

I would recommend educators introduce digital tools to their students. It is an excellent chance to engage students in the digital data managing environment. For example, if they are using the What’s the point, they should notice these areas are to help them cultivate the ability to analyze, input and make connections to their real life. They could share empathy by using technology to present their ideas and leave a record. Therefore, educator leaders should design and deliver an efficient platform for participants to accomplish their reflective process and constantly track their actions online.
